The soil is clayey, marly and compact and is naturally suited to the cultivation of vines.

Our vineyard has wide spaces between the rows (2.60 m) and between the plants themselves (0.90 m).

Narrower plantings are detrimental to the well-being of the plant. And a plant that has no well-being, in our opinion, does not produce a good wine.

The grapes are harvested during the coolest hours of the day and strictly BY HAND and IMMEDIATELY brought to the cellar.

The Barbera vineyard is amphitheatre-shaped on the hillside and has a predominantly south, south-west exposure.

The Cortese vineyard, on the other hand, is on the opposite hillside, has a sunny east-west exposure and also receives sunshine all day long.
